CESB Accredited Training Programs Career executives are required to complete at least one (1) accredited training program in addition to completion of ELP (Executive Leadership Program) for purposes of original appointment to CES (Career Executive Service) Rank, in accordance with CES Board Resolution No. 718. This covers the positions of Undersecretary, Assistant Secretary, Bureau Director, Assistant Bureau Director, Regional Director, Assistant Regional Director, Chief of Department Services and other officers of equivalent rank, all of whom are appointed by the President of the Philippines. Among the accredited training programs are: Designed for leaders in the public sector, the 2-day Power Principle workshop helps to enhance their leadership skills and effectively use their power within the bureaucracy. They will learn different power approaches and their impact on relationships, business transactions, sustaining influence, and bottom-line results. Basically, this program will help them assess why their people will choose to follow them. They learn the principle of influencing others honorably. 7 Habits Applications for Managers An intensive application-oriented learning experience, the 7 Habits Applications for Managers is a program that focuses on the fundamentals of great leadership. This 2-day workshop gives new and experienced managers a set of tools that will help them meet all of today’s management challenges, including conflict resolution, prioritization, performance management, accountability, trust, execution, collaboration and team development.
